Once there was a...

Bill and Ethan went out today and built a snowman. The weather has been so nice lately all they had on was snow pants and jackets. Ethan loves being in the snow and was so excited to make a snowman. We used oreos for the eyes, a carrot for the nose, mini oreos for the mouth and some left over trim pieces for the arms. Then Grandpa Ellett went out to help and they added arms.
Currently some of the mini oreos have fallen off so we have dubbed him the Canadian Hockey player.

Friday:

2 weeks old!! (give a couple days)

Friday we took Jameson into the Dr for his 2 week check up. At every 2 week appt the dr would like to see them back up to their birth weight, Jameson came into this world at 7 lbs 4 oz and at his two week appt he was 7 lbs 14 oz. Needless to say he is getting enough to eat. He is starting to chunk out a little bit, getting a double chin and his skin doesn't hang on his bones anymore..
Here are some new pics..

Baby Fritsch #2

On Friday we had the privilege of having a wellness ultrasound. Having never had an ultrasound this close to delivery it was very different, and of course we couldn't get him to look at us, but we did get a pretty good profile and some cute feet shots.

Sewing adventures...

Here is one of my latest sewing adventures.

the diaper and wipes case:

This one is in pink and brown, but I have made a few in other colors as well, I just forgot to take pictures.
Let me know what you think!! I may be adding it to my Etsy shop (as soon as I get it open online).

Misc postings and pictures

I was finally getting all the pictures off my camera this morning and there are some random pictures on here from a bit ago that I thought I would share..
First, Bill and Ethan playing out in the back yard.

I was taking some pictures of other things and Ethan wanted me to take pictures of his stuffed animals.. So I thought I would introduce everyone to them (particularly their names.. not sure why he names them what he does).
Introducing...

Yellow. We have no idea why he named him Yellow, but he was adamant that was his name.

Duck Bread. Again, no clue..

Puppy...

Fishy...

Yoda...

Wuff Wuff... Yes, he is about the size of Ethan.

Dragon.. He was showing me how he flies.

Woody...

Buzz...

This is where I called it done. He probably would have had me take a picture of everything in his room.

Firsts...

This Christmas Bill got me my first sewing machine. It is awesome to say the least. Yesterday I was making Ethan's bed and there was a hole in his sheets so I sewed it up and then made his bed. That is the first time I have ever been able to do that.
Last week I decided I wanted to try making a rag quilt for the lil' little guy, I picked up the fabric at Walmart on Monday. Actually I got a pack of receiving blankets that had 4 different designs and then got some plain fleece in colors to match. Off and on since Tuesday I have been working on it excited to see the final outcome. I pulled it out of the dryer about an hour again and I love it!! My first rag quilt, sewn on my first sewing machine. I think this is also my first quilt I have made completely on my own. I have so many things I want to make now, we will see how much actually gets done before the lil' little guy is here.

Here are my progressive pictures!

Christmas 2009

It was a very different Christmas for us this year. We decided to stay home and have Christmas as our little family. We missed having all the celebrations with our wonderful families but at the same time it was nice to just relax and enjoy the time together. We had a great time giving the presents to each other and watching as they were opened. It was a great Christmas.

Making Cookies

Last night we made sugar cookies. Normally the big thing is frosting and decorating the cookies but since I'm the only one that likes the cookies with frosting that is a little hard. So instead Ethan helped me roll the dough out with his roller. Lets just say all the dough he was rolling went in his mouth before it was properly rolled out. He loves helping and eating any dough.
